Thank you to every doctor on this National Doctor's Day who put their duty before themselves!🙌
Today we celebrate YOU, and we acknowledge the contributions YOU make around the country to every individual that requires your assistance.
Superheroes don't wear capes, they wear scrubs and save us in our times of need.
We are grateful for all your hard work, and for risking your lives to save the citizens of South Africa from this pandemic.
Thank you for always fighting, and for your humility, kindness, and strength.🤗
Happy National Doctor’s Day!
Khayelitsha Hospital is part of the Western Cape Department of Health services platform and serves one of the country's biggest and poorest informal settlements. The district hospital was officially opened in February 2012 and is one of The SAME Foundation's current healthcare projects.
The equipment that was donated to the hospital will be used for the next 10 years, if not longer, and will contribute to treating hundreds of thousands of patients and saving thousands of patients' lives.
In 2021, the Emergency unit treated 35699 trauma patients, and the equipment that was donated will ensure that patients get the quality healthcare they deserve.
The SAME Foundation and Khayelitsha District Hospital are forever grateful for the wonderful donations received from our loyal donors, as this would not be possible without the philanthropic support shown by our donor partners.

to the completed Computer Lab and Resource Center at Fisantekraal High School in the Western Cape, in 2019.
The SAME Foundation donated a brand new Resource Center and Computer Lab to the underprivileged school in Fisantekraal, which provides education to 1200 learners.
Living in underprivileged and rural communities limits the student's access to technological resources and online information.
Our donation will make a great impact on the learning environment at the school, as teachers and learners can now utilise these classes for; research purposes, e-learning, completing assignments, and lesson planning.
Today is Science Education Day!
STEM Education is a term to encompass ‘Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math's’. Education in the STEM subjects lays the foundation for children in critical thinking, and to be literate in the language of the future.
Empowering learners from underprivileged communities in South Africa is a big step towards upliftment from the cycle of poverty, crime, and unemployment. Improving STEM literacy through access, resources, and quality education will improve students exposure to subjects that will grant them greater chances of employment.

Make sure you go for a screening at least once a year to prevent kidney disease or further health implications.
It is easy, simple and pain free!

The SAME Foundation is a non-profit organisation that raises funds and manages corporate social investment allocations to improve the health and education environment in South Africa. The SAME Foundation has created a platform whereby private and corporate donors can make a tangible and sustainable difference with their funds. The Hospitals and Schools we work with rely solely on government financing and are utilised by over 85% of our country’s population and are therefore under severe strain. Our aim is to assist donors by aligning their annual donation budgets to projects where the investment will make the biggest tangible impact. 😌
