What are WOMEN’S CIRCLES? And why should you do them? 🤔 ⭕️

7 years ago in Bali I went to the world-famous and signed up for my first ever Womens Circle. I was nervous. I saw in a circle with 20 women, with a beautiful flower Mandela in the centre. The leader, Emily taught us how it works.

1.) She gave us a topic, the word “woman”, and asked us our experiences with it

2.) We were given around two minutes each to speak

3.) If you start crying or getting emotional, no one is supposed to hug you or say “I understand.” It’s a unique opportunity to share without having people trying to mirror you

this simple exercise helped me access deep emotions, feel closer to others, and understand myself. It was powerful.

But! Women circles are hard to find. That’s why at most Dear Alyne Retreats we hold womens (and once also mens circle!) circles and they are AMAZING. ✋

People share secrets, share feelings, and learn so much about themselves in this unique and magical circle.

Circles are humans gathered and shared stories and feelings around the fire for millennia, and it’s a tradition we continue here. 🔥

There are resources online on how to hold your own Womens Circle if no one is hosting them in your city!

It’s one of my favourite things in life and I hope everyone gets to experience it.

Let us know if you’d try a “human” (if you’re a guy) or womens circle!

I also think men’s circles would be powerful experiences.

Let’s get naked retreat wouldn’t be complete without a “naked photoshoot” energy am I right?!

A lot of us have complicated relationships with our feminine sides. Shame, guilt, or even just shyness cause us to push it aside. It can be seen as “less than”. But why? Feminine doesn’t mean weak, it means powerful, sensual, subtle, whatever we want it to mean 💅🏼💪🏽😇
