It was time to go live ....all the planning and training material was now going to be put to the test as we embarked on out first African Sky , Live Ready Advanced 4x4 driver and Basic Vehicle Survival Skills training.
The week end was a great success and we would like to thank all the candidates for there participation and high morale across both fantastic training days. Imagine a rugged landscape, where the air is thick with anticipation and the sound of engines echoes through the hills. You’re behind the wheel of your Suzuki Jimny, a compact yet mighty beast designed for off-road mastery. The training session begins with a briefing from Graham our seasoned instructor, who share insights on tackling diverse terrains—rocky paths, muddy trails, and steep inclines.
You start with the basics, learning how to engage the Jimny's 4WD system and understanding its low-range capabilities. The terrain is unforgiving, with ruts and sharp rocks, but the Jimny’s nimble size and robust chassis make it easy to navigate. As you conquer each obstacle, from water crossings to tight switchbacks, you feel the vehicle’s legendary agility and reliability.
The training intensifies with advanced techniques—hill climbs, controlled descents, and side tilts. The Jimny's rigid ladder frame and ample ground clearance become your best allies, absorbing the shocks and giving you confidence to push further. We will guide you on how to maintain momentum, balance throttle control, and manage the vehicle’s centre of gravity.
By the end of the session, the Jimny feels like an extension of yourself. You’ve not only mastered the art of off-roading but also discovered the sheer joy of adventure that the Suzuki Jimny 4x4 delivers.
Exhilarated and full of smiles, you drive back to base, ready to tackle any terrain the world throws at you.

Join us for our next session of Level 1 4x4 driver training to be held at our 4wd academy Living Colour Darling on 14th September 2024.
We pride our self in giving specialized thorough Suzuki Jimny / Grand Vitara 4x4 training , covering all the basic disciplines of 4x4 driving , including recovery , accessories etc.
We have of late also introduced off road trailer training within the same frame work, this gives the driver the opportunity to become one with his vehicle and trailer in a controlled environment.

Are you new to the Suzuki family ? Do you need to get intimate with the workings and capabilties of your vehicle?
Our Level 1 Course is a comprehensive course aimed at new entrants into the 4x4 market. The course includes just about everything a 4x4 owner should know.
An overview of the owner's vehicle forms part of the training. This ensures that the customer knows and understands the capabilities of their vehicle.
Our courses ensure that we spend quality time with each individual, providing the trainee with the opportunity to gain the most from the day. Our facilitators and assessors have a long history and deep roots in the 4x4 industry. This places us in the ideal position to provide guidance and information to 4x4 owners with various levels of experience.
During the course, customers will receive the information necessary to make their off-road experiences safe and enjoyable, as well as ensuring that there is no damage to their vehicle or the environment.
For safety reasons, we strongly recommend that a driver and navigator enroll for the course together. The navigator has to accompany the driver to provide assistance where needed.
