🎨 Daily Art in the Montessori 0–3 Environment

In Montessori, art is about much more than creating a finished product. It is an opportunity for children to explore, experiment, and express themselves independently.

By offering carefully prepared art activities on accessible shelves, children are free to choose work that interests them and engage with materials at their own pace. Through experiences such as painting, drawing, stamping, and clay work, they develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, and creativity.

Most importantly, the process belongs to the child. There are no templates to copy or expectations to meet, just the freedom to explore and create.

✨ In July, our Children’s Workshop family came together in honour of Mandela Day, collecting 67+ clothing and toy items for children up to age 6. Partnering with SAPS, these donations will support a shelter, reminding us that even the smallest hands can bring comfort and hope. Thank you to every parent, child, and staff member who contributed to this spirit of giving! 💛

Our Nursery children prepared shaped bread mini pizzas as part of their class party celebrations. This was a hands‑on activity that was as fun as it was delicious.

What a wonderful way to close the term, combining practical life skills with joyful community spirit. 🌟
