Independence is important for toddlers. Why?
🐛 It's a life skill that helps our children develope a sense of self-awareness, become emotionally stronger, and increases happiness 😀

Our caterpillar class is allowed to freely choose an activity from the shelf. This allows them to make their own choices, clean their own work space and pack away. This is giving the child the ability to learn through play and is an ongoing benefit throughout life.

We reached term 3, and our Busy Bees class are even busier than before😊.

Our Busy Bees class are demonstrating amazing concentration and self - discipline skills, while working freely.

Keep on buzzing Busy Bees! 😊👍🐝

To give back our 67 minutes, we would like to thank all our parents for the generous contribution towards our MLLE sandwich 🥪 making day, through your donations we were able to making a difference.

We distributed the sandwiches to the poor and needy.

Lastly, we wish to thank our little helpers and teachers for the helping hands, we are forever grateful.

Busy bees theme last week was my family. We incorporated numeracy by counting how many each busy bee had in their family. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Throughout these activities the kids are developing social skills by interacting and talking about what they are doing.
Numeracy - touch counting the windows & wheels.
Life skills- cars drive on roads and not fly or sail on water.
Listening skills- following instructions.
Language development and fine motor skills are also taking place at the same time.

During this activity the Busy Bees are totally engrossed and focused. They enjoy each other's company ☺️
