A moment. A picture. A piece of the puzzle.

Today is World Photography Day, a day that reminds us of the beautiful power of a photograph to freeze a moment in time.

But I wonder, can taking a photograph sometimes take us out of the moment?

We can become so focused on getting the perfect picture that we forget to simply be there. To notice. To feel. To experience…

Saying this, sometimes a photograph does something equally beautiful.

It gives us the opportunity to return to a moment long after it has gone. To remember a smile, a place, a person, a little piece of our life that might otherwise have become blurry or even forgotten with time.

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.💛

Knowing when to put the camera down and be fully present in the moment and knowing when to capture the moment so that you can carry a piece of it with you.

Like a puzzle, our lives are made up of countless little moments. Some seem insignificant at the time, but together they become the bigger picture.

So today, take the photo.🤳
Put the camera down.
Be present.
Capture the moment in your mind.
Live the moment.✨

Because every moment is a piece of the beautiful picture we are creating. It’s life.

Living with purpose also means being intentional about who and what we make space for in our lives. 💚

Not every person, opportunity, or situation is meant to fit - and that's okay.

Sometimes purpose becomes clearer when we stop forcing the pieces and start making room for the ones that truly belong.🧩

Living with Purpose, one piece at a time.

Winter is puzzle-building time in our house. It’s usually a family affair, sorting pieces, building the frame and then sitting around the table, finding pieces together.🧩

But this year was different. One day I decided to take the day off work. Yes, the perks of being my own boss! And I worked on my puzzle.

This particular 2000-piece puzzle was different.

I did about 98% of it myself.

And, if I'm honest, at first I felt a little lonely.

Then something shifted.

I realised that perhaps puzzle building was my thing. Not necessarily my family’s thing. And I could either sit with the feeling of “I’m doing this alone", or embrace the opportunity to connect with myself.

So I did.

And it turned into one of the most beautiful and satisfying processes.

Piece by piece.
Colour by colour.
Sometimes knowing exactly where something belonged.
Sometimes trying three, four or five pieces before finding the right one.
Sometimes stepping back because I simply couldn't see it anymore.

And then, eventually, the whole picture emerged.

Looking at that completed 2000-piece puzzle made me think about life.

We don't always get to choose the pieces we are given.
We don't always understand where a piece fits.
And sometimes we need to pause, change our perspective and try again.

But the attitude and intention we bring to the process matter.

Living with purpose doesn't mean having every piece figured out.

Perhaps it means being intentional about how we approach the pieces we have been given.

It means knowing ourselves.
Making choices that align with who we are.
Embracing the process.
And sometimes… simply enjoying building something that is meaningful to us

I'm already busy with my second puzzle for the winter.

And I wonder.

❓What pieces are you putting together in your life right now?

12/08/2026

A puzzle doesn’t come together by forcing the pieces to fit. Each piece has its own shape, colour and place, and somehow, when we start putting them together, the bigger picture appears.

I think women are a little like that too.

Our strengths, values, experiences, relationships, dreams and even the messy bits are all pieces of our unique puzzle.

This Women’s Month, let’s celebrate the beauty of discovering who we are, embracing the pieces that make us us, and intentionally choosing where they fit.

Because living with purpose isn’t about having the whole picture figured out.

It’s about finding your next piece.

Here’s to women who are still discovering, growing, connecting and becoming.

Your puzzle. Your purpose. Your picture.

July reminded us of the importance of alignment.

Alignment between our thoughts, emotions and actions.
Alignment between our values and our decisions.
Alignment between who we are and how we show up in the world.

But alignment was never meant to be the final destination. It was the foundation.

Because once we become aligned, a new question naturally follows:

"Now what?"

This month, we're exploring what it means to 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲.

Purpose isn't reserved for a select few, nor is it something we suddenly discover one day. It's found in the way we choose to live, day by day, decision by decision. It's about intentionally becoming the person we were created to be.

𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳.

When you understand your strengths, your values, your motivations, and the patterns that shape you, you gain the confidence to stop living by default and start living by design.

Throughout August, we'll explore how purpose is cultivated through:

🩵Self-awareness
🩵Intentional choices
🩵Consistent action
🩵Healthy relationships

Whether you're investing in your personal growth, strengthening your marriage, leading a team, or navigating a season of change, my hope is that this month's conversations will encourage you to live with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.

Because the goal isn't simply to know yourself. The goal is to live as the person you were created to be. Let's discover what it means to live with purpose.
