The first TAL cohort will bring together leaders from 12 countries across a wide range of sectors.
That diversity is not incidental. It is central to how the program works.
When a policymaker from East Africa, a corporate director from West Africa, and a social entrepreneur from North Africa or Southern Africa sit in the same room, the learning changes.
What shifts when leaders stop learning in silos?

TAL is not designed around exchanging business cards.
It is designed around exchanging ideas, challenging assumptions and working through real problems together. The cohort is part of the method. And this year, the first cohort is taking shape.
A joint programme by The Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance, UM6P - Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, Institute for Development Studies-University of Nairobi and the Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar.

A leadership programme should do more than introduce new ideas.
It should challenge how participants think, strengthen how they make decisions and influence how they lead in practice. Through academic learning, peer exchange, reflection and applied group work, TAL gives experienced professionals and leaders room to examine familiar challenges from new perspectives.
Applications may be closed, but the TAL journey is only beginning.
