Leadership Behind TAL

This week, we introduce Dr Nouzha Chekrouni, Academic Director of Leadership Programmes at UM6P - Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, Senior Fellow at the Policy Centre for the New South and Senior Fellow in Advanced Leadership at Harvard University.

From academia and diplomacy to public service, Dr Chekrouni has spent her career working at the intersection of leadership, governance and international cooperation. Her experience offers valuable insight into how institutions can develop leaders capable of creating meaningful and lasting change.

This week, the spotlight is on Mounia Boucetta. She is an affiliate professor at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, a Senior Fellow at the Policy Centre for the New South, and a former Moroccan Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.

With more than two decades of experience across public administration, diplomacy and economic policy, her work has contributed to industrial strategy, international cooperation and institutional transformation across Africa and the MENA region.

Meet Prof. Paul Kamau, Associate Research Professor at the Institute for Development Studies-University of Nairobi and a leading voice in African development research.

A development economist and National Investigator for Afrobarometer Kenya, his work sits at the intersection of industrial development, regional integration and economic governance.

For years, he has been helping shape how Africa understands its own political economy and what to do about it.
