Inspiring Horizons is looking for a flexible Casual Class Assistant to join our support team!
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and enjoys making a difference in the lives of neurodiverse learners. ✨
The role may include:
-Supporting learners during classroom activities
-Providing one-on-one support when needed
-Assisting teachers with daily activities
-Helping with sensory, practical and life-skills activities
-Assisting with supervision on busier days
- Providing additional support when staff members are absent
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Patient & compassionate
- Reliable & punctual
- Energetic & hands-on
- Computer literate
- Comfortable working with neurodiverse learners
- Able to follow instructions & work well as part of a team
Experience in education, childcare, special needs or therapy will be advantageous.
📌 Please note: This is not a permanent full-time position. Successful applicants will be added to our casual support team and contacted when assistance is required.

This week, we’re heading into the kitchen for some Cookie Baking & Decorating! 👩🍳👨🍳
Our Horizons Hangout crew will get creative as we:
🍪 Bake delicious cookies
🎨 Decorate and personalise them
🤝 Build social and life skills
😋 And, of course, enjoy the tasty results!

We had such a fun Wednesday at Horizons Hangout! 💚
We started off with a little friendly competition with a game of Jenga 🧱, followed by getting creative and painting our very own pot plants 🎨🪴.
Then came the best part, planting our own seeds and watching our little creations come to life! 🌱✨
A wonderful afternoon filled with fun, creativity, socialising and a little bit of gardening magic. 💚
We can’t wait to see how our seeds grow! 🌿

We had our first exercise therapy session back with the amazing Nixbeautylife and we couldn’t be happier! 🥰
We definitely missed Teacher Nicole and all the energy, movement and fun she brings to our sessions! ❤️
Our learners were ready to get moving, have fun and work those muscles! 💪🌟

What a lovely Saturday we had! 🤎✨
We welcomed some new faces and some familiar ones, and it was so special seeing everyone come together, get creative and simply enjoy the moment. 🎨
We didn’t manage to capture as many photos as we usually do… but honestly, that’s because we were too busy enjoying the moment! Sometimes the best memories are the ones we forget to photograph.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the morning so special. We absolutely loved seeing everyone’s creativity come to life, every painting was unique and full of personality! 🎨💛
And of course, a big thank you to Pancake Guy Matthew for the delicious pancakes! 🥞 They were the perfect treat alongside our hot chocolate. ☕🤎

🌸 Happy Women’s Day! 🌸
Today we celebrate the incredible women who inspire, nurture, support and make a difference every single day.
We celebrated a little early at Inspiring Horizons on Friday by treating our incredible moms to a small sweet surprise with a “You’re One Tough Cookie!” 🍪💪
To all our amazing moms: thank you for everything you do. Thank you for your strength, your patience, your love, your advocacy and for always showing up for your children. You are truly one tough cookie! ❤️

Today was a very special day at Inspiring Horizons! 🐾💙
We were incredibly lucky to welcome TOP Dogs - Therapy Dogs for a wonderful visit and our learners were absolutely thrilled! From brushing and walking the dogs to spending quiet time interacting with them, there were smiles, laughter and so many special moments shared.
Animal-assisted therapy offers so many incredible benefits, especially for neurodiverse individuals. Spending time with therapy dogs can help reduce anxiety, encourage communication, build confidence, develop social skills, improve emotional regulation and provide calming sensory input. The unconditional love and acceptance that these amazing dogs offer creates a safe space where our learners can simply be themselves.
Watching the joy on our learners’ faces and seeing the connections they made with the dogs reminded us just how powerful these experiences are. It was heartwarming to see confidence grow, gentle interactions unfold and beautiful memories being made.
A huge thank you to TOP Dogs Therapy Dogs for taking the time to visit us and share your incredible dogs with our learners. We truly appreciate everything you do and feel so fortunate to have had this opportunity. We can’t wait to welcome you back again! 🐶❤️
