The Division of Public Health Medicine is a division within the UCT School of Public Health

The practice of Public Health Medicine focuses on the delivery of population-oriented services aimed at promoting the health of communities. The Division of Public Health Medicine runs training for undergraduates in medicine and rehabilitation sciences, as well as a postgraduate specialisation in Public Health Medicine. It supports a wide range of research aimed at advancing public health practice

Professor London’s field is public health medicine, but his career and interests span environmental health, occupational health, the health of vulnerable populations, alcohol epidemiology and alcohol harm prevention, and human rights.
