Friday 1: Creative HRV Breathing – Dragon Breaths

Activity: In this session, your child will learn a creative breathing technique called “Dragon Breaths.” We will introduce HRV breathing in a fun way by pretending to be dragons, taking long, deep breaths to calm down. The children will also explore breathing like other animals, making the session playful and engaging.

Benefits: This activity helps children regulate their emotions, improves focus, and teaches them how to calm their bodies through deep breathing. It’s a great tool for self-soothing and emotional control.

One of the most important benefits of preschoolers learning about shapes is that it helps them develop early literacy and math skills. The shapes that we see all around us in our everyday lives are the same shapes that make up the letters and numbers in our alphabet and number system
