It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of our former teacher and colleague, Mr Mentor, who retired from our school at the end of the first term after many years of dedicated service.

His passing comes as a great shock, particularly knowing that he had only recently begun his retirement. For those of us who had the privilege of working alongside him, his contribution to our school and the lives of our learners will always be remembered and appreciated.

At this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. May they find strength, comfort and peace in the memories of the life he shared with them and the many lives he touched.

Our sincerest condolences to the Mentor family. May his soul rest in peace.

We bid farewell to Mr Mentor after 27 years today. Sir, you have given so much to our school, and you will be sorely missed. You will always be a part of our Kenwyn family ❤️
