Friends!! I’m really excited to be offering a workshop on Sanskrit pronunciation early next month.

This workshop is ideal for yoga teachers and committed yoga practitioners. Language enthusiasts are welcome too. (You don’t have to be an Ashtangi to join. ☺️)

The aim of this workshop is to give you confidence in your use of Sanskrit and hopefully awaken a curiosity for how your knowledge of this language can add new depth to your yoga practice and teachings.

You’ll also get a hand-out to continue your practice at home.

I’ve been teaching Sanskrit courses at various YTTs for the past 8 years and I rarely offer this work to the general public. If you feel like this might be something for you, I hope to see you there. Otherwise please share this with anyone who you think might benefit. 🙏🏻

So stoked for these two trying out their first ever downward dog. With a chair. It’s legit. 👌

The way yoga is usually presented in pictures and videos might make it seem like it is only for the fit, flexible and young. It might be inspiring and entrancing to watch someone perform advanced asanas (I mean, I dig it 🤷🏻‍♀️ and I’m not criticising that), but I feel it might also scare some people away from ever even trying. Which is sad.

One of the most rewarding and exciting parts of my work has always been figuring out how to make yoga asana accessible for people of different ages and abilities and witnessing what they discover about themselves in the process.

These guys just committed to one month of daily practice and just after one week they are already noticing so many benefits in their bodies and minds. You’re never too old to start something new. ✨

Friends! I’m very excited to announce that my friend and teacher Dylan Bernstein (aka ) is coming back to Noordhoek next year 19 February- 3 March. 🥳

He will teach the morning mysore classes at .nh and also offer a 10-day immersion (Mon-Fri) as well as four Sunday workshops.

Dylan was one of my first Ashtanga teachers and still is a great inspiration on my yoga path and in my life. It’s a huge privilege to have an international teacher with his experience in South Africa. Come use this chance to study with him. ✨

(I’m also hoping that some of my overseas Ashtanga friends will use this opportunity to escape the Northern winter and come visit me here in the sunny South 🙃 do it! It’s awesome here.)

All the details are up on the website. Check out the link in my Bio.
