π Learning Through Movement! π
Crawling under tables may look like simple play, but itβs helping children develop balance, coordination, spatial awareness, body control and gross motor skills.
It encourages problem-solving, builds confidence and helps children understand how their bodies move through space.
Sometimes the best learning happens under a table! πβ¨

Show & Tell: Learning Through Sharing! π
Our Group 5 learners had a wonderful time sharing their special items during Show & Tell as we explored this weekβs theme, Mud & Soil! π±πͺ¨πͺ΅
While Show & Tell is always a fun and exciting activity, it also plays an important role in preparing our little ones for the transition to Grade R.
Through Show & Tell, our learners are developing important skills such as:
π£οΈ Speaking confidently in front of a group
π Listening attentively when others are speaking
π Organising their thoughts and expressing their ideas
π Building vocabulary and language skills
π€ Taking turns and respecting others
β Developing confidence and independence
These foundational skills help prepare our learners for Grade R, where communication, participation, listening and expressing themselves become an increasingly important part of their school day.
Every little βshowβ and every βtellβ is helping our learners find their voices, build confidence and get Grade R ready! ππ±

β¨There is something truly magical about a handful of sand. Tiny fingers scoop, sift and explore as soft grains slip through their hands like a gentle waterfall.
As the sand trickles through, children discover new textures, build sensory awareness and experience the simple joy of being present in the moment.
Sometimes, the greatest learning happens in the smallest moments β one grain of sand at a time.
