First I want to give all thanks and praise to our heavenly FATHER for allowing me to complete my 6th Dan test successfully. I also want to thank Hansi Bosman and fellow instructors for assisting me with my preparations, my senior belt students that attended the Gushuku with me and I also want to thank everyone for your prayers and well wishes. Last I want to give myself a tap on my back for enduring the tough physical training whiles preparing, and sacrificing my time waking up earlier to practice my katas. My sacrifices has paid off and preparation is everything.

I remained focused on achieving my goal and at my grading I could give more than 100% and do what was required of me with complete confidence. The aching, bruised body and doing the Kyokushin walk for a few days was and will really be worth everything, especially if I know that I have overcome the battle... this battle was with nobody else but myself and I was victorious.
