TRAGIC PASSING OF ANATHI NTAMO

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the tragic passing of Anathi Xolelwa Ntamo who was an extremely promising, talented MICTSETA Film Afrika 2021 - 2022 Camera Department intern.

Having attended Big Fish and been a Digital Filmmaking Volunteer on Encounters, joining the SA FILM Academy - and interning with Film Afrika for a year - she went on to work as a trainee on a number of films - including Noughts & Crosses 2 with Film Afrika - honing her craft and skills.

She will be sorely missed by family, friends and colleagues.

Applications are now OPEN for DGMT’s Amplify | Mobilise| Change: Digital Communications for NGOs learning programme, 2022. Learn core strategic and practical areas in online communication, from integrated planning to audience research and content strategy.

30 online communication practitioners will have the opportunity to complete a selection of online modules, fine-tune their core technical skills in practical sessions, develop and run an online campaign and complete an integrated online communication plan – with support and guidance every step of the way from the programme team.

This opportunity is open to all registered non-profit organisations in South Africa, including those funded by DGMT, and runs for 7 months – from the end of April till end November 2022. You will learn and share 100% online. All programme costs (except your computer/ connected device and data) are subsidised by DGMT.
