Thank you to The Cape Leopard Trust for coming to present our winning artists with their calendars. Also a big thank you for Chris and Naas who shared an interesting powerpoint presentation about leopards. We have had so much fun working with The Cape Leopard this year. We had an awesome camp in October; we participated in the Calendar Competition and we enjoyed the presentation a few days ago.

Fun and Games at Food and Games 2019
Tomorrow morning, 12 September, I take Liam Storey, Grade 7Mc, to face the Final Round of AMESA Challenge at Durbanville High School. Liam is in the top 431 school children in the whole country who participated in this competition! All the best, Liam! We are all rooting for you! Mrs McGillewie!!

Happy, Hysterical Hooked on Books!
MJS children were entertained by a few vibey, energetic actors and actresses who made lively presentations of some new books on the shelves. One of the best parts of the show was when some of our children were invited to act and be part of the drama!

Muizenberg Junior School
Muizenberg Junior's Marine Explorers had their 1st surf session at Surfer's Corner, Muizenberg. Waves were great and fun was had by all! Thank you to the UCT Underwater Club volunteers for lending their time.
Grade 6 had so much fun on the beach today. It was cold and wet, but XOTB made it worth every minute. Thanks guys. And well done Tyler, it was a brilliant idea.
