Sup all, hope yoll 100🤟🏽
This is just a young reminder regarding the counters we are using while we are busy with the math series focused on Counting Forward and Backwards. If you don’t have plastic counters it is okay, you can use bottle tops. Start collecting the bottle tops asap and you will see your collection grow nicely quick fast ⚡️ .
Also, you can use the bottle tops to introduce your kids to more topics - like Even and Odd numbers: if you start counting from 0 in 2s then you will discover even numbers. And if you start counting in 2s from 1 you will discover odd numbers.
And hey, collecting the bottle tops won’t set you back financially, you going to buy bottles of cool drink, water or whatever neway🤣

Sup fam!
Just another late night share of our latest maths video. These vids show progression within the topic and move from concrete (counters) to semi-concrete (number grid) with the aim of getting our kids to do it mentally (mental math).
So yeah, put in the time with your little ones and watch your efforts pay off.

Shout out to teacher Kelly for the great feedback and for adding flavour to her lesson.
I am so excited to share my latest video on counting forward and backwards in 2s using a number grid with you! Just keep in mind that this is a continuation of the previous video lesson on counting in 2s using counters.
Counters are concrete, the number grid is semi-concrete and once you have those down the hope is that you will be able to do it mentally.
Good morning 💃🏽
Just a heads up! Our next video drops today at 6pm!
I will be counting forward and backwards in 2s using a number grid. Also, I will be sharing links to the 2 follow up videos where we count ON in 2s using counters and a number grid. So that’s a total of 3 videos we will be dropping later 💪🏽
But hey, if you missed the first video ne sure to watch it using this link 👉🏽

Have a leke day and catch you 6pm.
Whats happening everyone?
Check out this incredible manner in which the dope Ms Rhoda from Ebenezer PS in Paarl teaches her learners counting in 4s. She definitely added some flavor by using movement and you can see her learners are smashing it while enjoying themselves.
Hit that like button if you LOVE what you’re seeing 👍🏽
Side note - Teaching math concepts through whole-body movement activities can increase a students ability to learn and retain information. Plus, it’s a load of fun. So, when you are working with your learners, children or whoever, don’t forget to add this leke method.

Extra! Extra! Read All About It!!
So, I’m just letting you’ll know, that today at 6 PM, I will be releasing a fresh math video on my YouTube channel (Link - https://youtube.com/ ) and we're gonna be talking all about counting forward and backwards in 2s! And you know what makes it even better? I'll be using cool COUNTERS to make the concept super easy to understand. And if you do not have counters, it’s chilled, you can user bottle tops, coins (check pic below) or any other suitable resource. These manipulatives are the key to making math fun and interactive, trust me!
Using manipulatives like counters, bottletops or other similar materials when teaching counting forward and backwards in 2s is crucial as they provide a tangible, hands-on experience for students. They help students to visualize and physically manipulate the numbers, allowing them to build a deeper understanding of the concepts. Furthermore, the manipulatives can be used to model different counting patterns, such as counting by 2s, helping students to grasp the idea of skip counting more easily. Additionally, these tools are excellent for promoting active engagement and interaction, making the learning process more fun and memorable. By using manipulatives in the teaching process, students can also develop their fine motor skills, problem-solving skills and increase their overall confidence in learning to count. In conclusion, using counters, bottletops or other manipulatives is an effective way to teach counting in 2s, and is essential for fostering a strong foundation in early math skills.
So, make sure you've got your counters and bottletops ready. Having these resources on hand will make the whole experience even more enjoyable. With my help, you'll be counting in 2s like a pro in no time!
Don't miss out on this chance to boost your math skills! Set a reminder for 6 PM and get ready to count like a boss!
