🌍✨ Earth Day Creativity Continues! ✨🌍

As part of our World Earth Day celebrations, our learners didn’t just create—they recycled with purpose! ♻️

We are so proud to share that our Grade 5 class made pencil cases from recycled chip packets!

Turning waste into something useful teaches our learners an important lesson:
- We can care for the Earth through small, creative actions.

💚 A little fun fact:
One of these pencil cases has been used for the past 10 years—showing just how durable and practical they are!

Let’s continue to encourage sustainability, creativity, and responsibility—one small step at a time 🌍✨

🌍 Celebrating Earth Day at School! 🌱

Yesterday we celebrated Earth Day with our amazing learners in the most meaningful way!

Our learners got creative by making beautiful Earth-themed crafts, using their hands and imagination to show love for our planet.

From colourful designs to thoughtful creations, each piece reflected the importance of caring for the world around us.

We also spent time in the garden 🌿—getting our hands a little dirty while planting, watering, and learning about how we can take care of nature. These moments are so special as they not only build important life skills but also teach responsibility, teamwork, and appreciation for nature.

We are so proud of our learners for their enthusiasm and participation. Small actions today can grow into a greener, brighter future for tomorrow! 🌍✨

⚽🏉 Proud Moments on the Field! 🏉⚽

Yesterday was an exciting day for our boys as they played their first soccer game for the term! 🎉👏 We are incredibly proud of their effort, teamwork, and enthusiasm on the field. They showed great spirit and determination, and it was wonderful to see their confidence shining through.

In addition to the soccer game, our learners also took part in gross motor movement activities, where they practiced their tag rugby skills. 🏃‍♂️💪 From running and dodging to working together as a team, it was fantastic to see their coordination, strength, and teamwork developing.

These experiences help build not only physical skills but also confidence, communication, and social interaction—so important for our learners’ growth.

Well done to all our boys—you made us so proud! 🌟
And a big thank you to everyone who supported and encouraged them along the way.

💃✨ A Proud Moment for Our School ✨💃

It was an honour for our school to be part of the opening of the Axios School of Skills Neurodivergence Centre, where our talented learners had the opportunity to perform.

A special thank you to one of our dedicated educators (Ms Mdanjelwa) for lovingly creating the beautiful sweaters worn by our learners. Your care and creativity added such a meaningful and personal touch to the performance — we truly appreciate you!

Our dancers showcased not only their skills, but also their confidence, joy, and the power of expression through movement. We are incredibly proud of each learner who took part — you represented our school with excellence! 🌟

We commend the Western Cape Education Department for this important initiative in creating inclusive spaces that support neurodivergent learners. Being part of such a meaningful event reminds us of the importance of celebrating every learner’s abilities and potential.

We wish Axios School of Skills every success as they begin this exciting new chapter, and trust that the centre will continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of many learners. 💙

Thank you for allowing our learners to be part of such a special occasion. 🙏

Your ongoing support is making a meaningful difference in the lives of our learners, and we deeply appreciate your generosity and thoughtfulness.

May your kindness be returned to you in abundance. 🌟

Thank you for being such a consistent blessing to our school community! 🙏
