🌞🌙 DAY & NIGHT THEME WEEK ⭐✨

Last week at Kabouterland Daycare, we explored the magical world of Day & Night! 🌈🌞🌙

Our little ones learned all about the sun, moon and stars through lots of fun, hands-on and creative activities. 🎨✂️⭐

🌞 We discovered the “job” of the sun — how it gives us light and warmth, helps plants grow, and makes our daytime world bright and beautiful. 🌱☀️

🌙 We learned about the “job” of the moon — how it lights up the night sky and helps guide us when it’s dark. 🌌✨

⭐ And, of course, we had lots of fun creating our very own sun, moon and star crafts, while learning through play and imagination! 🎨💫

From bright sunny days to twinkling starry nights, our little Kabouters had so much fun discovering the wonderful world around them! 🥰🌞🌙⭐

Learning, creating & exploring — one little adventure at a time! 💛🌈

💦 What a splash-tastic week of learning! 💦

Our little ones explored the wonderful world of water through play, creativity and discovery. They experimented with household items to retrieve objects from water, created colourful water-themed crafts, learnt about different water sports and enjoyed plenty of exciting water play. 🌊🎨🏄

Learning is always more fun when we can dive right in! 💙

🏅 **What an action-packed Sports Week we had!** ⚽🏒⛳🎳

Our little athletes had an absolute blast exploring different sports and movement activities while developing their coordination, balance, and teamwork skills.

During the week they:
🏒 Played **noodle hockey** using pool noodles.
🎯 Practised throwing balls through hoops to improve their aim.
🎳 Enjoyed a fun game of bowling using toilet paper roll holders.
⛳ Tested their skills with a mini golf course.
⚽ Matched different balls to the correct sports and scored goals in the matching goal posts.

Every activity encouraged our children to learn through play while building confidence, gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

There were plenty of smiles, lots of laughter, and so many proud moments throughout the week. Well done to all our little sports stars—we're so proud of each and every one of you! ⭐💙

👀👂👃🖐️👅 **This week's theme: My 5 Senses!** 🌈

What an exciting week of discovery at Kabouterland Daycare! Our little explorers had so much fun learning all about their **five senses**—how we **see, hear, smell, touch,** and of course... **taste!** 🍎✨

Through hands-on activities, sensory play, songs, stories, and fun experiments, the children explored the amazing ways we experience the world around us. From feeling different textures and identifying familiar smells to tasting yummy treats and listening carefully to different sounds, every activity was filled with curiosity, laughter, and learning.

Watching their little faces light up with each new discovery reminds us that the best learning happens when children can explore, play, and experience the world for themselves. 💛

We are so proud of our curious little learners and can't wait to see what next week's adventures will bring!
