Exploring extensions of Montessori materials through colour, matching, grading and size discrimination. 🌈

The children are experimenting, problem-solving and working together as they discover different ways to match and stack the coloured cylinders. A beautiful hands-on extension that encourages visual discrimination, concentration, fine-motor control and creativity.

🌊 Term 3 Theme: Exploring the Five Elements 🌍🔥🌬️🌳💧

This term we will be exploring the Five Elements: Water, Earth, Air, Wood, and Fire through hands-on play, art, music, stories, sensory activities, and practical life learning.

This week we begin exploring the Five Elements, starting with Water. We will learn about freshwater and saltwater, rain, rivers, lakes, and the ocean. The children will also discover the water cycle and how water moves from the earth to the sky and back again through evaporation, condensation, and rain.

International Bee Day 🐝

Without bees, we would have no flowers, fewer trees, and far less food. These tiny creatures are some of the most important workers on our planet, helping nature grow, bloom, and thrive. They pollinate the plants that give us fruits, vegetables, seeds, and the beauty of the natural world around us.

Bees are essential to life itself — to the air we breathe, the ecosystems we depend on, and the future of our planet. Today we celebrate these incredible little beings and remind ourselves that they deserve to be protected, respected, and cared for.
