🧙‍♀️ Our Room on the Broom Adventure! ✨
We had a magical time helping the witch find her missing hat, yellow bow and wand! The children retold the story using sequence cards, matched each character to the item they found and placed the witch, cat, dog, bird and frog onto the big broom in the correct order. We finished our adventure by decorating delicious witch-hat cookies! It was a lovely day filled with storytelling, teamwork, creativity and imaginative fun. 🐱🐶🐦🐸🧹🍪

🌿 Our Gruffalo Adventure! 🌿
Today we stepped into the deep, dark wood for a wonderful Gruffalo-themed adventure! We stretched, balanced and moved like the story characters during our Gruffalo movement and yoga session, then got creative making our very own Gruffalo mask art.
The excitement continued with a special obstacle course! We visited the fox in his underground house, built a cosy log-pile house for the snake and climbed high to find the owl’s treetop home. We had to move quietly and carefully through the forest because the Gruffalo might be waiting along the way!
It was a day filled with storytelling, creativity, movement and lots of brave little explorers. 🐭🦊🦉🐍💜

Round and round the colours go,
Over, under, fast or slow!
Friendly colour monsters cheer,
"Come and find your colours here!"

Hop to a colour, what do you see?
A colour monster waving at me!

Red and yellow, green and blue,
The colour monsters know what to do!
They help us jump and help us play,
Learning our colours along the way.

Hop to a colour, what do you see?
A colour monster waving at me!

Through the hoops and past the line,
Matching colours feels so fine!
We laugh and move from start to end,
With every monster as our friend.

Hop to a colour, what do you see?
A colour monster waving at me!

Squishy, squashy coloured goo,
What will my little fingers do?
Poke it, pat it, give it a squeeze,
It's wobbling softly in the breeze!

Squish, squash, gooey fun,
Learning colours, everyone!

Red and yellow, green and blue,
So many colours to peek right through!
Slow like a liquid, firm like dough,
What a funny goo to know!

Squish, squash, gooey fun,
Learning colours, everyone!

Drip and wiggle, stretch and slide,
Colourful surprises hide inside!
We laugh and play the whole day through,
Exploring our colourful goo!

🎨 Mystery Colour Playdough 🎨

We got some playdough, soft and bright,
Two little colours tucked in tight.
Roll it, squish it, stretch it long,
Can you guess the colour song?

🔴 Red and 🟡 Yellow, what will it be?
A bright orange surprise for you and me!
Roll it round and squash it flat,
Look at that! Look at that!

🟡 Yellow and 🔵 Blue, mix away,
A lovely green appears today!
Stretch it high and pat it low,
Watch that brand-new colour grow!

🔵 Blue and 🔴 Red, give it a swirl,
A beautiful purple starts to twirl!
Squeeze it gently, make a ball,
Purple is the winner of all!

Roll it, squeeze it, squish it too,
What mystery colour waits for you?
Mixing colours is such fun,
Let's make another brand-new one!

Mix and roll, don't be slow,
Watch the magic colours grow!
Primary colours, one, two, three,
Making new colours for you and me! 🌈✨
