Over a month ago, our talented learners took to the stage and completely blew us away! Here’s a short throw-back snippet of the incredible talent we witnessed. 🌟

On Monday, 21 September, our Grade 3 learners stepped back in time with an insightful visit to the District Six Museum! 🚌

As part of our social sciences theme over the last three weeks—"How People Lived Long Ago"—our learners had the opportunity to connect their classroom learning with real-world history. From examining historic household items and vintage photographs to listening attentively to personal stories and interactive presentations, our Grade 3s gained a deeper understanding and empathy for our rich history.

A big thank you to the staff and guides at the District Six Museum for hosting our learners and making history come alive! 📜🕯️

A Day of Wonder & Learning for Our Grade 2s! 🌟

Last week, our Grade 2 learners headed off on an unforgettable excursion to the Wonderdal Edutainment Centre! From the moment they stepped out, the excitement was off the charts! 🚌✨

Through interactive, CAPS-aligned zones, our young explorers got to learn by doing in the most creative ways:
🥦 Health Kitchen: Discovering nutrition and healthy choices.
🌱 Wonder Garden: Getting hands-on with soil and plant growth.
🌪️ Tinker Workshop & Brain Teaser Islands: Putting their problem-solving and energy concepts to the test.
📚 Story Cave: Enhancing reading comprehension and essential life skills.
🧗 Wildlands & Tree of Light: Building gross-motor skills and spatial awareness while having absolute fun!

Seeing our learners so engaged, curious, and energized reminds us how wonderful learning can be when played out in the real world. A huge thank you to the team at Wonderdal for hosting us! 💚
