🔬✨ Grade 6 Learners Explore the World of Science! ✨🔬

What an exciting day of learning, discovery and exploration for our Grade 6 learners! 🌟

On Tuesday, 11 August, our Grade 6 learners had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Cape Town Science Centre, where learning came alive through exciting, interactive and hands-on experiences.

The excursion gave our learners the chance to explore scientific concepts beyond the classroom, ask questions, experiment, discover and, most importantly, have fun while learning! 🧪⚙️🔭

A big thank you to our Grade 6 educators and everyone who helped make this educational experience possible. Your dedication and support helped create a memorable day for our learners. ❤️

We are so proud of our learners for representing Balvenie Primary School so wonderfully and embracing the opportunity to learn, explore and discover.

💙 A Day of Love, Honour and Appreciation 💙

On Wednesday, 29 July 2026, Balvenie Primary School had the privilege of hosting our Elderly Appreciation Pampering Function—a truly memorable day dedicated to honouring and celebrating the incredible senior citizens in our community.

The event was a tremendous success, filled with joy, laughter, heartfelt conversations, and beautiful moments that will be treasured for years to come. Our special guests were warmly welcomed and treated to a morning of pampering, fellowship, entertainment, delicious refreshments, thoughtful gifts, and genuine acts of kindness.

This initiative not only celebrated our elderly but also reflected the spirit of Mandela Day, reminding us that even small acts of service can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Seeing the smiles on our guests' faces and hearing their words of gratitude was the greatest reward of all.

We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to making this event such a remarkable success—our dedicated staff, generous sponsors, volunteers, learners, parents, and every individual who donated their time, talents, and resources. Your kindness, generosity, and willingness to serve made this day truly unforgettable.
