Middle age spread?
Well, the good news is that you can:
Bury the crash diets,
Retire the sit-ups,
Stash the weightloss supplements in the trash, and
Stop worrying about things you can't control‼
The secret (not so secret) is all in the basics:
Reduce your sugar intake,
Increase your workout intensity (in other words, stop scrolling and start sweating),
Sleep 7 to 9 hours a night,
Increase your daily step count - WALK up the stairs ...
And ditch the ultra processed foods aka take aways 😅
Combine this with consistent action and you have the winning recipe. It really is that simple 💥

Of all the macro nutrients you have to love protein the most.
Whether you want to lose body fat, gain muscle mass or improve your performance - up your protein intake!
Every cell in your body contains protein ... if a lion had you for lunch you would be an amazing source of protein 🤣 ... so increasing your protein intake makes a load of sense, doesn't it?
Protein helps you:
Regenerate cells,
Synthesize new protein (which is important whether you want to maintain or build muscle mass)
Stay fuller for longer,
Regulate blood sugar levels
AND
Protein burns more calories during digestion than any other macro nutrient!!!💪
Eat your protein! Chances of your protein intake being too high are highly unlikely (and No, you won't get kidney failure 💁♀️)

Things to DO better to BECOME better ...
* get an early start and set your alarm for 5 am
* keep track of your thoughts by keeping a journal
* let go of the past, it's behind you
* feed your mind - read more books
* drink more water ... a hydrated skin has less wrinkles 😉🤭
* smiles are contagious - smile at strangers!
* walk in nature daily - there is peace to be found 🌼
* feed your body and eat a variety of colourful foods
* develop an attitude of gratitude ... say THANK YOU more often
* develop healthy habits around sleep. Make your bedtime non negotiable 😴
And remember to GIVE with a cheerful heart 💞 Give your time, your effort, your friendship, your love and watch the world around you change for the better 🌻

The best is often the enemy of the good.
Many times, we focus so much on the BEST way to do something that we never get going!
Being in motion is not the same as taking action. Watching the videos, reading the articles, sticking the training program on the fridge, might be doing something but it’s not going to bring you any closer to achieving your goal. Not unless you TAKE ACTION.
You have to DO the thing. You have to get in the reps! Thinking about it isn’t the same as doing it.
Sometimes PREPARATION becomes PROCRASTINATION. (I’ll know because I’m really good at this part 🤣)
There is no BEST way of doing something. What’s best for someone else is not necessarily best for you. And the only way you’ll find what’s best for you? Trial and error, my friend ... you’ve got to DO the thing.
A good way to find a good way to do something is to listen to people with experience. People who’ve been there and done that and dedicate their lives to help others do it too. But you’ve still got to DO the thing ...

Why do so many people simply shrug and say: Oh, I’m just a bad sleeper 🤷♀️
Why would you settle for that? Why would you not want what is best for your body? Why would you not even TRY to enhance your sleep experience?
Simple daily habits practiced consistently can make a HUGE difference to your quality of life. It can really be much simpler than you would have imagined.
