Food preparation is part of everyday life in our toddler environment 🍎

Our toddlers regularly get involved in simple tasks like cutting fruit, helping prepare snacks and serving themselves.

These everyday moments build concentration, coordination and independence - while showing children that they are capable of doing real things for themselves. 🌿

Capturing a quiet moment of mindfulness in our classroom.

This week, as part of our emotion theme, our children crafted these beautiful glitter jars.

In a our environment, we don't just talk about big feelings we give children concrete, tactile tools to explore them.

Watching the glitter slowly settle helps children visualize their minds calming down after a big emotion.
