Admin keep me anonymous, hi everyone I'm a woman who is aged thirty two,mother to two beautiful babies and a victim of domestic violence

I have been shielding my relationship even when I saw the signs that it wasn't going anywhere,only because of the love I have for my boyfriend

I came to realise that I will end up dead on day because of domestic violence,so enough I was about it all

I opened a case,was even busy today at the magistrate court
If we don't act against this thing nothing will ever change
My advice to you all is to talk and seek help
Work to be free
Make justice for you while you still alive and always put your kids first

Victims of violence can suffer s*xual and reproductive health consequences, including forced and unwanted pregnancies, unsafe abortions, traumatic fistula, s*xually transmitted infections including HIV, and even death.

Mental health impacts for survivors of gender-based violence :

include Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, substance misuse, self-harm and suicidal behaviour, and sleep disturbances. In addition, a survivor of GBV may also face stigma and rejection from her community and family.
