Apex High School - the workplace of some of the best teachers in South Africa - is looking for a Blended Learning teacher for our GET classes.

All South Africans have a right to education, but not all our schools have enough capacity for our children to have access to this right. Especially in poverty-stricken
communities, we often find schools reaching full capacity long before all scholars were placed.

Our Blended Learning model (pilot project launched in 2022) brings an exciting, new approach to teaching where more scholars are taught, without compromising the quality of teaching. Even though the majority of learning takes place online, the blended model acknowledges the vital importance of the teacher’s role to bridge conceptual gaps. The combination of online and face-to-face learning brings a unique environment where quality education remains at the core of what we do.

Are you interested in the field of education? Are you hungry to grow and develop, to learn whilst helping others learn in an innovative way? We want YOU.
Apex High School (the workplace of some of the best teachers in South Africa) is looking for Blended Learning facilitators for our GET classes (Grade 8 and 9).

The combination of online and face-to-face learning brings a unique environment where quality education remains at the core of what we do. If you are a fast learner and eager to develop, this role is for you.

Some of the support you may provide our students:
- Coordinating day-to-day activities in the blended learning classroom
- Managing classroom behaviour
- Supporting the Blended Learning Teacher
- Explaining of concepts while scholars are completing lessons online
- Reporting and following up on any issues observed
- Taking responsibility of admin duties

💻 Computer Lab Facilitator 💻

With technology playing an increasingly important role in the development and success of , we conduct Computer Lab sessions with our learners in which we foster literacy using digital platforms as teaching mediums.

To support this objective, we are looking for individuals to supervise the computer lab sessions and serve as a facilitator of these learnings. 🤓

As a lab facilitator, you will be working closely with the learners, becoming a role model of discipline, creativity and fostering a conducive environment for learning.
