Heavens Nest Child Care and Recreational Centre - vacancy for Child and Youth Care Workers.

Position Identification
Title: Child and Youth Care Workers
Reports to: Facility Manager

Requirements
• Qualified CYCW with an FETC Child and Youth Care Work (NQF level 4/5)
• Registered with South African Council for Social Service Professions. (SACSSP)
• Valid clear Police Clearance certificate
• Competency (Speak, Read and Write) in English
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans
• Full understanding of being the first responder in life space work
• Knowledge of residential care, development theories, ACTS and policies that guide child and youth care workers.
• Willing to attend training and meetings
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Have good intra and interpersonal relationships
• Good communication skills
• Must enjoy good health
• Must have strong family and other support systems.
