I saw these different irrigation heads on a small garden in Durban road after having a lecture on them. These irrigation heads include impact sprinkler, spray head, and rotor sprinkler.

Strong water pressure facilitates the movement of the sprinkler head of an impact sprinkler, causing it to click and move in a circular or partially circular pattern. This is a great option for large areas. The nozzle that is chosen for a spray head influences its irrigation pattern. The only options available for sprinklers are nozzle sizes. Changes to the pattern or coverage area are made within the sprinkler body itself. The spray head nozzle must offer the "full circle" or a segment of a circle setting because the spray head is not moving.

An essential part of every irrigation system, sprinkler rotors provide coverage and distance without compromising effectiveness. Gear-driven rotors are the key component of rotor sprinkler systems' optimal efficiency. These kinds of sprinklers use less water by dispersing the water into bigger droplets that cover a greater area.

This is a construction detailed drawing of a Signage Post I made, as we were required. The importance of the detail in the drawing is for landscape contractors to be clear of what they should do, how, and what material should they use. All this is prepared for installation to go smooth without any query. The book Landscape Construction by David Sauter shows the drawing symbols to use for each specific material to make a detailed construction drawing.

In urban contexts, sign posts play a vital role in providing information, direction, and wayfinding for individuals. These easy-to-use yet adaptable tools help provide users with the directional information they need to successfully navigate a built environment. Street names, connecting streets, and occasionally the distances to neighboring landmarks are all listed on street sign posts.

This is Iziko South African National Gallery, found in our study
area in Company Gardens.

BRIEF ABOUT THE BUILDING:
Proposals to create this building in the Company's Garden for
the purpose of exhibiting art were addressed at a conference
held in the Cape Town Public Library in 1850. When the
National Collection was established in 1872, paintings from
Thomas Butterworth Bayley's estate were one of the gifts
received. The government acquired property in the Company's
Garden and assumed custody of the collection with the
passage of the South African Art Gallery Act in 1895. The
collection is housed in a wing of the South African Museum,
although the foundations were only set in 1914. The public was
first granted access to the present structure on November 3,
1930. The structure was then enlarged in 1937 to house South
African artists' creations.
It is recognized as the best art museum in South Africa and is a
home to exceptional collections of British, French, Dutch,
African, and South African art. In order to provide the museum
with a comprehensive schedule of temporary exhibitions
featuring paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures,
beadwork, textiles, and architecture, selections from the
permanent collection are rotated on a regular basis. They shed
light on the astounding diversity of artistic and creative output
found in this nation, throughout Africa, and beyond.
A desired line was created on the lawn in front of the Iziko
South African National Gallery. People that come from the
back entrance take a short cut instead of using the formal
walkway provided. This is due to laziness or considering taking
a shorter way as some people may be in a hurry sometimes.
This disturbs the formality of the landscape.

These are bollards made up of iron, situated below
Battery Park near Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in Cape
Town. These bollards are there to block vehicles from
passing this point as this walkway is wide. They are 0.9m
long, 0.097m wide, and the thickness of the material used
is 0.013m. The bollards are fixed into the ground. The
spacing between the bollards is 0.348m, allowing only
one human being to pass between each two bollards at a
time. The bollard’s color is made to blend in with the small
concrete stones color on the cement paving that they are
placed on, and secondly with stones used to make the
seating wall next to them and some parts of the
surrounding design elements.
The 0.4-0.63m high stone seating wall was made by
joining the shaped stones by cement. This is also a
rectangular planter, which has Agaphanthus praecox
planted on it. This perennial with eye catching showy blue
flowers blooms from mid to late summer season.

This is a mini park-like landscape in Cape Town- De
Waterkant. The floor is made up of 0.11m square shaped
concrete cinder blocks. On top of these paving blocks, a bench
made up of shaped stone and timber was placed. The timber
is fixed in the rocks used as a base using a suitable type of
screwing. The bench is heavy to such a point that no one can
move it or take it away as it is not fixed into the soil.
The base rock color matches with the other color of the paving,
which together adds to the aesthetics of this landscape. The
small concrete stones on the square shaped space around the
tree and the tree trunk also blend in with their colors used.
Trees were planted around this area to create shade for
people relaxing on these benches. This bench is 1.95m in
length, 0.525m breath, and 0.6m in height.

In our modules which are Construction Drawing and Design
Theory, we are studying landscape elements.
Below is a tree surrounding structure located in Cape Town City
Centre. I define a tree surrounding as a structure used to
surround and guide a tree to grow up straight and be safe from
being damaged by human activities. A type of a metal was used
to create this frame. This structure limits the chances of a tree
stem to be damaged. It is 1.61m high, with a diameter of about
0.47m. The tree surrounding is fixed into the ground for it to not
easily move and lose its function. It is designed in a way that
there are very low chances that a person passing next to it can
be hurt.
