Bigger is not always better, especially with sailboats.
Sometimes it feels like the world is chasing bigger and louder. But out here, the magic shows up in the quiet. A small boat, a calm anchorage, and a sunset that slows your whole body down. It’s a good reminder that life doesn’t have to be large to be meaningful. Sometimes less really does feel like more.

Good motorsail yesterday. Finally got the boat to Simon’s Town. Made good progression especially once we round Cape Point and we’re on a beam reach to reach. Not enough wind to torn the engine off. Luckily the engine is working fine now that the diesel injector pump is fixed. Just a little issue with the throttle cable, which is the next thing to replace. Just glad to have the boat “home”!
