Yin Yoga ๐Ÿ’œ a practice of stillness

A slow, meditative style of yoga using longer holds to gently soften the body and calm the nervous system.

Join me at Ananda Sanctuary for six weeks of slowing down, softening, and deep rest. ๐Ÿชท

New year, new doors opening ๐Ÿค

I started at this month, working the front desk and joining the yoga school as a student, and it already feels really aligned with how I like to move and practice.

Grateful to for the introduction ๐ŸŒฟ

Catch me at The Shala on Thursday evenings โœจ Iโ€™ll be greeting you from the front desk and then practicing in class ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ

Come for the rhythm, stay for the presence. ๐Ÿ’™

Vinyasa Flow is about staying with the breath as the body moves โ€” not rushing, not forcing, just flowing with intention.

This practice offers space to build warmth and clarity through steady movement, while staying connected to how things actually feel.

It feels like time to rest ๐Ÿชท This year I taught 125 classes. 4 studios. 3 weekly classes in Cape Town ๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค

My teaching has been slowing down, finding rhythm, and feeling more me.

Grateful for the teachers Iโ€™ve learned from, the communities that welcomed me, and the new directions yoga keeps opening ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Slow Burn ๐Ÿ”ฅ โ€” strength through stillness.

Despite the name, itโ€™s not a power yoga class.
The burn comes from presence, not push.
Transitions are slow. Movements intentional.
Strength builds through awareness, not force.

You can choose a spot beneath the infrared heaters โ€” or one in the natural room temperature.

A practice of steady focus โ€” balancing effort and ease.

A year of teaching at ๐ŸŒฟ

Morning light through the skylight, the scent of incense, the faint sound of the church choir next door.

This space has become a gentle teacher โ€” reminding me that rejuvenation, not exhaustion, is the true mark of practice.

Itโ€™s become a true sanctuary in the city โ€” a place to move slowly, breathe deeply, and return to yourself again and again.

Hereโ€™s to another year of slow, mindful movement and ease ๐Ÿค

One year back in Cape Town - a little more grounded, a little more at home. Less striving, more ease. ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฑ

Each yoga class reminds me that when we stop forcing, we find space. Teaching continues to teach me ๐Ÿชท
