Correct everything? Big mistake.

Too much correction can make students shut down and speak less.

Try this instead:
let them finish, correct key mistakes, and focus on progress first.

Confidence comes before accuracy 💬

Also teacher: waited 0.5 seconds 😅

Students need time to think. And that silence isn’t a problem. It’s learning in progress.

Try waiting 3–5 seconds after asking a question and see what happens:

Try swapping “yes/no” for why, how, and what. And watch your students start thinking, speaking, and engaging more 🔥

Give your students more space to speak, think, and build confidence. Try open questions, role play, and longer pauses. Small changes can make a big difference!
