Up and Under girls shine as history was made for SA Girls Rugby. 🇿🇦🏉

On 15 July, our five Up and Under players proudly attended the first-ever SA Schools Girls Blazer Presentation, a landmark moment for girls' rugby in South Africa.

Representing the country with pride, Mia Kanka, Jessie Schoeman, Zoë Antonie and Nommah Sandifolo took the field for SA Schools, while Alicia de Klerk proudly represented SA Schools 'A'.

On 16 July, SA Schools Girls u18 played against SA Schools 'A' Girls u18 as we saw memorable performances:
🏉 Alicia de Klerk scored a fantastic try.
🎯 Mia Kanka added a conversion for SA Schools.
⭐ Jessie Schoeman led proudly as Vice Captain.
⚡ Zoë Antonie made a big impact from scrumhalf.
💪 Nommah Sandifolo was outstanding in the lineouts.

A special thank you to the families who travelled to Gqeberha to support the girls from the Provincial Youth Week all the way until SA Schools. As well as Coaches Viaan and Kehan for being there to support them on the memorable occasion.

To our players, we are incredibly proud of your sacrifice, commitment and perseverance. Your achievements are the result of years of hard work, and we know this is only the beginning of a remarkable rugby journey.

WE ARE BACK! Term 3. 🏉

Our High School Girls Rugby Programme is officially back at DF Akademie, Edgemead High School, Parow High School and Fairmont High School for an exciting third term.

Over the break, our coaching team came together to analyse each school's season so far, identify key areas for improvement, and develop targeted plans to raise the standard across all four programmes. Quality coaching and continuous player development remain at the heart of what we do.

This weekend, the Northern Region Schools League resumes as our teams begin the final stretch of the season. With league fixtures ahead and the High School Sevens closing out the term in September, there's plenty to play for.

We can't wait to see our players continue to grow, compete and represent their schools with pride.

Fantastic highlights from our U19's vs Rangers RFC! 💛🏉

Well done to our U18's for putting on a dominant display of rugby talent, IQ, and teamwork! 💛🏉

Our U19 side closed out the evening with a composed 42-0 victory, showcasing great teamwork, discipline and some exciting attacking rugby.

We are incredibly proud to congratulate our Grade 11 learner, Nommah Sandifolo, on her selection to the SA Schools Girls Rugby Team! 🌟

Nommah has earned the honour of representing South Africa on the national stage after being selected as part of the historic first-ever SA Schools Girls squads announced by SA Rugby. This landmark moment marks a new chapter in South African schoolgirls’ rugby, making her selection even more remarkable.

To wear the green and gold is a dream that few achieve, and Nommah’s dedication, perseverance, and exceptional talent have earned her this prestigious opportunity.
