π An Important Announcement from Duneside Primary School π
Dear Duneside Primary School Family,
It is with a mixture of immense pride and heartfelt emotion that we share some important news with our wonderful school community. Our Acting Principal, Ms P. Sojini, will be leaving Duneside Primary School at the end of June 2026. Ms Sojini has been appointed as Principal at Hillside Primary School, effective 1 July 2026 β a truly well-deserved recognition of her exceptional leadership and tireless dedication to education.
Under Ms Sojini's guidance, Duneside has gone from strength to strength. Most notably, our 2025 systemic results showed remarkable improvement β a testament to her focus on raising academic standards and her belief in every single learner at this school.
She has led our school with integrity, warmth, and an unwavering commitment to the children, staff, and families of Duneside. Her impact will be felt for years to come.
To Ms Sojini β thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Hillside Primary is gaining an outstanding principal, and we could not be more proud of you! ππ
Looking ahead, the Western Cape Education Department will be appointing Mrs R. Hoffmann-Arendse as Caretaker Principal in the interim. We have every confidence in Mrs Hoffmann-Arendse's ability to lead our school with the same dedication and care that our community deserves.
We kindly ask all parents, guardians, and community members to extend to Mrs Hoffmann-Arendse the same wonderful support, cooperation, and trust that you so generously gave to Ms Sojini. Together, we keep Duneside strong! π
