Every meaningful improvement in a school begins with understanding what happens inside the classroom.
Through 250 classroom observations, school leaders and coaches gathered real evidence of teaching and learning in practice.
These observations aren't inspections.
They're opportunities to reflect, strengthen instruction and support teachers where it matters most.
Because stronger classroom practice doesn't happen by chance.
It grows through consistent observation, coaching and leadership.
And every improvement made in the classroom reaches the learner.

On Saturday, 1 August, we welcomed 19 school leaders to Forest Village Leadership Academy for our The Role of an Instructional Leader training, delivered in partnership with EduPulse.
Facilitated by Sakeena Elloker and Rochelle van Rooyen, the session equipped school leaders with practical strategies to strengthen teaching and learning in their schools. Leaders actively engaged, shared ideas and reflected on ways to make an even greater impact on teachers and learners.
A special thank you to our guest speaker, Cordelia Jacobs, for sharing her inspiring leadership journey after completing our 18-month Instructional Leadership Development Programme.
Thank you to everyone who made this valuable learning experience possible. Together, we're strengthening leadership to improve learning outcomes.
Some investments are measured in Rands.
Others are measured in futures.
Every conversation between a school leader and a teacher, every lesson in the classroom and every learner who feels seen and supported helps build stronger schools.
The Future Fund exists to make those moments possible by investing in the leadership that shapes teaching and learning every day.
Because when school leaders grow, teachers are supported. When teachers are supported, learners thrive.
Discover how The Future Fund is investing in stronger schools and how you can be part of the journey.

ILI PARTICIPANTS LEAVING THEIR MARK
Congratulations to Mrs V. Engelbrecht of Firgrove Primary School, who was awarded 1st Runner-Up in the Excellence in Primary School Teaching category at the National Teaching Awards, Metro East Education District.
This recognition speaks to the difference made every day through thoughtful teaching, consistent commitment and a genuine belief in the potential of every learner.
Mrs Engelbrecht’s achievement is a proud reflection of the care, skill and dedication she brings to the classroom and to her wider school community.
Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition. Your impact reaches far beyond a single lesson.
School improvement doesn't happen through one workshop or one conversation. It happens through consistent leadership development over time.
During our 2024/2025 Instructional Leadership Development Programme, school leaders completed 105 hours of structured leadership development, building their knowledge, confidence and practices that strengthen teaching across an entire school.
When leadership improves, teaching improves. When teaching improves, learner outcomes follow.
This is what educational investment looks like.
