Did you know? The Allan Gray Scholarship Programme is open to Grade 6 learners from every corner of South Africa.

Yes, it doesn't matter if you're from a big city or a small rural town. If your child has the potential and meets the requirements, this opportunity is for them.

Submitting your child's application for the Allan Gray Scholarship Programme is just the first step. Here's what happens next.

✅ Shortlisted applicants write a Foundation assessment in December 2026
✅ Successful candidates are invited for interviews in early 2027
✅ Successful candidates are then invited for interviews at placement schools
✅ Approved candidates are awarded the Allan Gray Scholarship in May 2027

Every step of the process is designed to find the right learners for the programme, not just those with the best marks.
