For the past six months, we have had the absolute pleasure of hosting Tiphaine Muteau from France as part of her internship at BLASC. What started as an internship quickly became so much more.

Tiphaine immersed herself in every aspect of school life. From designing posters and supporting our advertising and marketing efforts to sitting in on meetings, contributing ideas, assisting behind the scenes, and experiencing the day-to-day operations of BLASC—she gave every task her full commitment and professionalism.

But beyond her skills and talents, it is her kindness, intelligence, creativity, and willingness to learn that truly stood out. She embraced every opportunity, asked thoughtful questions, and added tremendous value to our team. Her contributions did not go unnoticed, and her impact will be felt long after her departure.

Tiphaine, thank you for your dedication, your fresh perspective, and the positive energy you brought to BLASC every day. You have set a remarkable standard for future interns and have certainly shown what it means to embrace an experience wholeheartedly. 💙

While we are sad to see you return home, we are incredibly grateful that our paths crossed. We have no doubt that you have a bright future ahead and that you will continue to achieve amazing things wherever life takes you.

Stepping into the classroom from time to time, she offers a fresh voice, calm presence, and hands-on creativity that our learners absolutely love. ✂️✨ Her patience, character, and interactive approach make every session meaningful and memorable.

More than that, she is also a BLASC parent - someone who gives back not because she has to, but because she genuinely loves being part of the BLASC community. ❤️

Our learners recently completed their Job Shadowing experience at Spur Steak Ranches, ending with a final interview session alongside the Operational Manager, who generously helped answer the last questions for their project. 🙌

At BLASC, we believe in exposing young minds to real-world experiences early - helping them discover their passions, build confidence, and understand what success can look like for their future. 🚀

POV: Your Life Sciences textbook suddenly became REAL LIFE 🫀🧠🔬✨

Our Grade 11 and 12 Life Sciences learners recently had the incredible opportunity to visit the Medical Morphology Learning Centre at Stellenbosch University Medical Campus and let’s just say… the classroom could NEVER 😭👏

It was an inspiring and educational day filled with curiosity, excitement, and meaningful learning beyond the classroom. We are proud of the enthusiasm and maturity our learners displayed throughout the visit! 💫

From seeing real human anatomy up close to connecting everything we’ve been learning in class; the curiosity, excitement and “WAITTTT I REMEMBER THIS!” moments were priceless 🩺📚
