To my first student and bestie Benji,
Yesterday 10 April 2026, we finally had the courage to say goodbye. We saw your mama give birth to you on 19 June 2011, and you gave us 14 yrs of beautiful unforgettable memories. We brought you home 4 weeks later and gave you a box, cos the bed was too big. I carried you around in my hat and we watched the cookies bake together in front of the oven. Everyone who walked through our doors and the classroom had a special bond with you. The most happiest dog ever and always. We went through a pandemic togethe, I filled my snack drawer for you and made a space in my bed for you any day. We will no longer find you in the sun on the yellow chair or have you blow our ear drums on car trips. Your long nails tik toks on the wooden floor will never be forgotten, your forceful nose nudges for a head rub and karaoke dances in the kitchen. Justin Bieber will always remind me that you were my "Benji Benji Benji oooh. You will always be mine mine! "
You were the bestest friend any girl could ask for.
