Oh, to get lost in a book!!!
Knock, knock, whose there? Don’t disturb me I’m reading! Isn’t that such a nice sound or should I say, "music and words to my ears!" When your child doesn’t want to be interrupted because they are reading and not just reading, a book they don’t want to put down because it’s interesting and gripping!
Why do children see themselves in books?
The first two reasons lead to a third, which relates to literacy and the child’s development as a reader. Seeing themselves in books helps children with the vital skill of reading with comprehension and establishes an affinity with reading – the more children enjoy reading, and find meaning there, the more they will come back to books.

Why Geometry and Shapes?
Children need many opportunities to learn about shapes. Learning to identify and understand the different shapes, as well as their parts, are important concepts. Each day children are exposed to shapes in their environment. They see and interact with them everywhere daily. They need to be able to recognize shapes, verbalize what they see, and understand why they are there.
Eventually, we want children to decipher between shapes and understand formal definitions of shapes. As children learn each geometric concept, they will move on to the next stage of understanding. A strong knowledge of shapes is vital for learning more complex geometry concepts later.

Building life skills with 3-6-year-olds – Help me to do it myself!
Practical Life activities are the activities of everyday life and in all aspects of our lives. The child observes these activities in their home, outside environment and gains knowledge through the real experience of how to accomplish life skills in a purposeful way.
We refine these skills working towards increased concentration, exactness, and precision. On both levels, the Practical Life exercises teach the child sequencing, develop concentration, build confidence, and aids in language development.

Developing fine motor skills!
Fine motor skills are the ability to make movements using the small muscles in our hands and wrists. We rely on these skills to do key tasks in school, at work, and in everyday life.
There are many activities to help children to develop the dexterity and strength of their fingers and thumbs.
These small movements come so naturally to most people that we usually don’t think about them. But fine motor skills are complex. They involve a coordinated effort between the brain and muscles.
Here are some examples of when we use fine motor skills:
• Holding a pencil
• Drawing pictures
• Using tweezers
• Using scissors, rulers, and other tools
