Title: I can't breathe
A black man strolling down the street
Not that knowing it was his last day
Black and blue swept him off his feet
And they thought it was ok
While he said "I can't breathe, I can't breathe, I can't breathe".
The poor soul was lying on the floor
Fearing for his dear life
Not knowing he'd be at heavens door
Never said goodbye to his wife
While still saying "I can't breathe, I can't breathe, I can't breathe
He's throat was crying
He called out to his mom
Because he could feel he was dying
He kept on crying" I can't breathe, I can't breathe, I can't breathe.

Good Day Allπ€π€
This is a very exciting initiative about launch off. Super excited π₯³π₯³
This initiative is primarily to serve the marginalized and subjected youth in Manenberg, Cape Town, South Africa. The ultimate aim of this platform is to tell our stories, our experiences and our dreams and desires.
The Cape Flats in general and Manenberg in particular, finds itself in the midst of pessimism for various reasons. The objective however is to swing the pendulum the other way.
The idea of "youth as author" will be central to this page. I will be posting two short stories per week written by our kids.
I will also intermittently provide some contextual information about Manenberg during the course of the week.
Stay tuned.ππ€
