Acknowledgement and Appreciation to merSETA
We would like to sincerely thank merSETA for inviting us to the stakeholder engagement session.
We have learned a great deal from the engagement, particularly about the important role we play as skills providers in preparing our learners for the world of work. The knowledge, guidance and insights shared with us will not remain on paper—we are committed to putting what we have learned into practice and ensuring that it benefits our learners.
We also greatly appreciate the encouragement for skills providers and employers to work together and collaborate more closely. This partnership is essential in ensuring that our learners receive the right skills, knowledge and practical experience that respond to the needs of the industry and the labour market.
As a training institution, we are encouraged to strengthen our relationships with employers and other stakeholders so that we can bridge the gap between training and the workplace. By working together, we can contribute to producing competent, employable and industry-ready learners.
