Announcement: Music Theory catch-up classes

ALL music learners are requested to attend theory catch-up classes tomorrow (Friday, 14th August) immediately after school from 14:15 - 14:55 (Primary school learners). Ensemble classes will continue immediately after theory class.

Parents are then cautioned that learners may arrive home a bit later than usual because of this arrangement.

All high scholars must attend their theory class from 15:00.

Dear Parents and Guardians

The Music Magnet Programme is currently facing a serious challenge, as some learners are not attending their music classes regularly, while others have withdrawn from the programme during the course of the year.

We kindly appeal to all parents and guardians to encourage their children to attend every music lesson consistently. Regular attendance is essential for learners to develop their musical skills and to prepare for upcoming performances.

Preparations are already underway for our Annual Arts Festival, where parents and guardians will be invited to watch their children proudly perform on stage and showcase their musical talents. Further details regarding the festival date and arrangements will be communicated in due course.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the parents who have been faithfully contributing the monthly R70 music fee. These contributions play a vital role in maintaining our musical instruments, purchasing necessary resources, and covering other programme-related expenses.

Parents who have not yet made their contributions are kindly requested to do so at their earliest convenience. Your continued support is greatly appreciated and helps ensure the success of our Music Magnet Programme.
