We bid a heartfelt farewell to Mr JS Tema as he embarks on an exciting new journey to pursue his Master’s degree in Consumer Studies in Japan.
Mr Tema joined our institution in 2025 and quickly made a remarkable impact. Through his passion, dedication, and commitment to teaching, he guided our Grade 12 learners to an impressive improvement in their performance, achieving an average of almost 60% in the 2025 NSC examinations. This outstanding achievement earned him the well-deserved position of No. 1 in the LEO and Circuit (Madibeng - Toloane)

Beyond the classroom, Mr Tema demonstrated his commitment to excellence by participating in the National Teaching Awards (NTA) this year, progressing all the way to the national level. His journey is a true reflection of his hard work, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to education.

On 23 September 2026, as the school closed for the holidays, Mr JS Tema took a flight to Japan, where he will be pursuing his studies for the next two years.
As the Jethro Pelle Secondary School community, we are immensely proud of his achievements and grateful for the invaluable contribution he has made to our institution. Although we will miss his presence, we celebrate this incredible opportunity and wish him every success in this new chapter of his life.

This remarkable achievement is a testament to his unwavering dedication, professionalism, and commitment to providing quality education to our learners.

Having emerged victorious at Provincial Level, Mr J.S Tema is now heading to the National Interviews scheduled to take place from the 15th of September 2026 at Birchwood Hotel and Conference Centre in the Gauteng Province, where he will represent Jethro Pelle Secondary School, Madibeng LEO, Bojanala District and the North West Province

We wish him every success as he takes this outstanding achievement to the next level. His hard work continues to inspire both learners and colleagues alike.

Have a look at what some of our matric learners had to say after attending the Hebron mall Career Exhibition!

Our Grade 12 learners who achieved an average of 60% and above in the June examinations were selected to participate in the Hebron Mall Career Exhibition and Guidance Programme. The initiative was designed to expose learners to the wide range of educational and career opportunities available after completing matric.

The programme has played a significant role in helping many of our learners make informed decisions about their future careers by providing valuable guidance, information, and inspiration. Through interactions with various institutions and professionals, our learners gained greater clarity about the pathways available to them.

As a result, our matriculants are now more informed, motivated, and confident as they prepare to take the next step in their educational and career journeys.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Hebron Mall and all stakeholders involved in empowering the future leaders of our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Hartbeespoort Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) for giving this beautiful girl a second chance at life.

After being abandoned, she stayed in our school yard for approximately three weeks. She looked so sad, withdrawn, and heartbroken. Our learners tried to play with her and make her feel welcome, but she wasn't interested.

Today, she has a new beginning and a new name: Daisy. ❤️

Her story is a reminder that animals feel fear, loneliness, and love just as we do. We plead with our communities to treat their animals with kindness and compassion. Abandoning an animal is an act of cruelty.

Let's be responsible pet owners. Let's protect, care for, and love our animals. Every animal deserves a safe home and a second chance.

Daisy is needing a forever home. 🙏💖🐾

Apology for Late Release of Learners due to Load Shedding

Dear Parents and Guardians

We sincerely apologize for the late release of Grade 12C2 learners from their practical class on the above mentioned date.

The learners were scheduled to finish at 15:00. However, due to unscheduled load shedding from 12:00 to 15:00, the practical session could not be completed safely or to the required standard during that time. To ensure learners did not lose critical curriculum time on their Term 2 Practicals and to prioritize their safety while waiting for power be restored, the class resumed once the electricity returned and
concluded at 17:00.

We value the trust you place in us to care for your children. I regret any disruption this caused and appreciate your understanding as we work to balance curriculum demands.
