🌈🐘 A Colourful Elmer Adventure! 🐘🌈

Inspired by the much-loved Elmer the Elephant, our little ones explored emotions, kindness and the beautiful ways we can celebrate what makes each of us unique. 🌈🥰

From making emotion sensory bottles 🫧, creating a beautiful friendship patchwork 🧩, and enjoying exciting role play 🎭, to moving and grooving during our emotion dance 💃🕺 — there was never a dull moment!

We also shared kindness notes 💌 and put our teamwork to the test with an exciting game of tug of war!

Just like Elmer, we are all different — and that’s what makes us special! 💕

🇿🇦🔥 Heritage Day Braai! 🔥🇿🇦

What better way to celebrate our beautiful Rainbow Nation than with a good old-fashioned South African braai! Our little ones and staff enjoyed a fun-filled Heritage Day celebration with delicious food, happy smiles, and wonderful moments shared together.

It was a lovely opportunity to come together as one big Curro Brackenfell Preschool family to celebrate the traditions, flavours, and togetherness that make our country so special. We celebrate good food, great company, and our precious South African heritage!

🌿🎨 Nature’s Paintbrushes! 🌸✨

Our Group 4 little artists had so much fun experimenting with painting using items from nature! They got creative with flower twigs, leaves, rocks, shells, and pinecones, discovering how each natural object created its own unique shapes, patterns, and textures. 🍃🐚🌲

What a wonderful way to explore shapes in nature while encouraging creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning! Every print and painting was completely unique, just like our little artists.
