Behind every lesson, every laugh, every “Sir, I didn’t do it” and “Ma’am, can I please go to the bathroom?” is a teacher who keeps showing up.😁

Today we celebrate the people who teach, motivate, discipline, encourage, listen, repeat themselves 10 times over and somehow do it all again tomorrow. ❤️💙

Happy Teachers’ Day to our Linpark teachers - you are a big part of what makes Linpark, Linpark.

Today we celebrate what makes South Africa, South Africa. 🇿🇦

Our different cultures, languages, traditions, food, music, stories and the people who keep them alive. We may come from different backgrounds, but together, these differences are what make our country so special.

From all of us at Linpark High School, Happy Heritage Day! ❤️💙🇿🇦

And just like that… Term 3 is in the books. ❤️💙

What a term it has been! Busy, eventful and filled with the kind of moments that make being part of the Linpark family so special. From classrooms and workshops to sports fields, competitions, events and everything in between, our Red & Blue have certainly kept things moving!

It has been a term of hard work, big moments, proud achievements and plenty of memories - through it all, our Linpark spirit has continued to shine.

Because here, we don’t just show up. We show up with pride & courage

As we close another chapter, we hope our learners and staff take this break to rest, recharge and come back ready for everything that lies ahead.

Another term down. Another chapter written.

Forever Red & Blue.

💜MADODA SABELANI.💜

In the face of the violence women continue to experience in our communities and across South Africa, silence is not enough.

Gender-based violence is an ongoing crisis. One that demands our attention, our voices and our action every day, not only during awareness months.

Our Linpark learners chose to use their voices.

Through song, poetry, solidarity and a small, student-led demonstration, conducted under the guidance and supervision of our staff, our learners came together to acknowledge a reality that affects far too many women and girls in our country.

Our rugby boys raised their voices through “Madoda Sabelani”, calling on men to speak up, to stand against violence and to understand that silence can never be the answer.

One of our girls then shared a powerful poem, giving words to the emotions and realities that are often difficult to express.

Together, their voices carried one simple but important message:

Madoda, sabelani.
Men, speak up.

Gender-based violence is not a “women’s issue”. It is a community issue. It is a human issue. And change begins when we choose to speak, to listen, to challenge harmful behaviour and to stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves.

And perhaps most importantly, it is about refusing to become desensitised to the stories we hear and the lives that are lost.

Today, our learners reminded us that young voices have power. They showed that awareness does not always need a stage, a microphone or a big campaign. Sometimes, it begins with a group of young people deciding that they care enough to stand together and say, “This is not okay.”

We are proud of our learners for recognising that true strength is found in courage, compassion and the willingness to stand up for what is right, even when it would be easier to remain silent.

May we continue to raise young men who know that speaking up matters, young women who know that their voices matter, and a generation that understands that respect, dignity and safety should never be negotiable.

Speak up. Stand together. Break the silence.

EXCELLENCE IN ACTION. 🥇🔴🔵

Linpark High School is proud to celebrate an outstanding achievement by Grade 10 learner, Alonso Koopman, who secured 1st Place at the KZN Sasol/Kagiso Trust Skills Competition.

Accompanied by our Mechanical Technology teacher, Mr NB Shezi, two two represented Linpark with skill, determination and technical excellence, competing against learners from across KwaZulu-Natal.

This achievement is a wonderful reflection of what can happen when knowledge meets practical skill, dedication and opportunity.

Congratulations, Alonso & Mr Shezi! You have given the Red & Blue another moment to be proud of.

Behind every well-run school… is an admin team that knows where EVERYTHING is. 😂❤️💙

The first call, the last-minute request, the missing document, the parent query, the learner who needs help and the staff member looking for something “urgent” somehow, admin is always on it! 😅

From answering the phones, managing the paperwork, welcoming visitors, supporting our staff and learners, keeping things organised, coordinating a million moving pieces and do a whole lot of work that often happens quietly behind the scenes.

Basically… if it needs to be organised, communicated, found, fixed or figured out - ask admin. 😉

Today we celebrate the people who keep Linpark ticking, one phone call, email, form and “quick favour” at a time!

Happy Administrative Professionals’ Day to our amazing admin team! 🥳❤️💙

❤️💙 A little recognition. A lot of pride.

There’s something special about seeing the name Linpark High School recognised by the community we are so proud to be part of.

Our school is built on the people behind it:
The learners who show up and give their best, the staff who go above and beyond and the families, supporters and community members who continue to believe in what we do.

So, if you’re part of the Linpark family, have walked our corridors, cheered from the sidelines, supported one of our teams or simply believe in the work we’re doing then we’d love to have your support. 🫶🏼
