𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙁𝙪𝙡𝙡 𝙈𝙤𝙤𝙣?? 😁🌑
On the 28th August 2026, we are set to experience a powerful 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗘𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗽𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗲𝘀, opposite the Sun in Virgo. Although technically partial, this is a very deep eclipse, with more than 96% of the Moon passing through the Earth’s darkest shadow. It is all about 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱.
I hope you are ready for a long read - but totally worth it!
This eclipse arrives just over two weeks after the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Leo on 12 August. While that eclipse planted the seeds of renewal and a more authentic way of expressing ourselves, this Pisces Lunar Eclipse asks us to 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 for those new beginnings to grow.
Every new chapter requires us to release something from the old one.
Full Moons bring emotions, situations and realisations to the surface. Lunar eclipses intensify this process, often accelerating something that has been quietly developing beneath our awareness. They can coincide with endings, emotional breakthroughs or important turning points.
What is revealed may feel sudden, but it is rarely completely new.
More often, an eclipse 𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘺𝘦𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘦.
This is the final Pisces eclipse in the cycle that began in September 2024, bringing a longer story around boundaries, trust, control, surrender and emotional wellbeing towards completion. We are closing a chapter.
Think back over the past two years:
Where have you been learning to trust yourself more deeply?
Where have you needed to establish clearer boundaries?
What have you discovered about the relationship between your emotional wellbeing and your physical body?
Perhaps you have been learning that caring for others does not require abandoning yourself. Perhaps you have begun releasing the belief that you must always be useful, productive or in control. Or perhaps a dream, relationship, identity or familiar way of coping has slowly been dissolving because it no longer belongs in the life you are creating.
The ending may not be dramatic. It may simply arrive as a quiet knowing: 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺.
This Full Moon also highlights the relationship between two very different ways of approaching life: the fine balance between doing and allowing.
Virgo wants to understand, organize, improve and find a practical solution. Pisces reminds us that not everything can be analyzed, repaired or controlled. Some things must be 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁. Some answers arrive through 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 rather than logic. Some situations are healed not by trying harder, but by accepting what is and allowing ourselves to let go.
One asks (Virgo): What needs to be done?
The other asks (Pisces): What needs to be surrendered?
This eclipse may show us where we have become caught between overthinking and avoidance, between trying to control every detail and feeling too overwhelmed to act.
The opportunity lies in bringing the two together: listening to our intuition while remaining grounded, allowing emotion without becoming consumed by it, and combining compassion with discernment and practical action.
Surrender does not mean giving up. It means recognizing where continued resistance is costing us more than release would.
You may know that Pisces is deeply connected to intuition, emotion, imagination and everything we sense but cannot always explain. Around this eclipse, we may feel more tired, emotional, nostalgic or sensitive to people and environments. Dreams may become vivid. Memories may resurface. We may feel the need to withdraw, rest, cry, create or spend time near water.
Emotions that have been ignored, minimized or pushed aside may now ask for our attention. This is not necessarily a sign that something is wrong. It may simply mean that we are finally ready to feel and process what could not be fully acknowledged before.
The body may also communicate more clearly through tension, fatigue, disrupted sleep, emotional overwhelm or a need for more space. 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆. The body often notices that we have reached our limit before the mind is ready to admit it.
At the same time, not every feeling needs to become a decision. Heightened sensitivity can make it difficult to distinguish between intuition, fear, projection and wishful thinking. Allow yourself to feel what arises without needing to understand or act upon everything immediately. Let the information settle.
And then, this eclipse also highlights the dialogue between the analytical mind and the emotional body.
We may become more aware of the stories we tell ourselves about what we feel.
Do we analyze our emotions instead of experiencing them? Do we doubt our own perception? Do we dismiss what the body is communicating because it does not appear logical?
Reason and intuition are not enemies. We need both.
The mind can help us evaluate, organize and choose an appropriate response.
Our emotions can reveal what matters, where something hurts and where a boundary may have been crossed.
This is a time to notice whether the mind is helping you understand your emotions or simply helping you avoid them.
Be 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗹, too, of the information you consume and the conversations you participate in. When the 𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 is already sensitive, constant noise, distressing news or conflicting opinions can create further overwhelm. 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 is not only about deciding what is true. It is also about deciding what deserves access to your energy.
As if all of the above wasn’t enough 😁, there is an 𝘂𝗻𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 quality surrounding this eclipse. Plans may change. A conversation may reveal something unexpected. A new piece of information may suddenly alter the way we see a situation. We may also feel a strong urge to break free from draining relationships, professional situations or personal patterns.
What has felt familiar or stable may begin to shift, asking us to become more flexible and less attached to how we thought things should unfold.
Sometimes disruption is not life falling apart. It is life, interrupting a pattern that has kept us stuck.
However, sudden awareness can overstimulate the nervous system and make us feel restless, reactive or desperate for immediate change. 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. Give yourself time to separate a genuine inner knowing from a temporary emotional surge.
I love the Pisces energy. One of the deepest lessons of Pisces is 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. And yet, compassion 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 can become rescuing, overgiving, emotional exhaustion or losing ourselves in another person’s needs.
This eclipse may illuminate where we have confused love with sacrifice, forgiveness with continued access, empathy with responsibility, or loyalty with remaining in a situation that repeatedly hurts us.
You can understand why someone behaves as they do and still choose not to participate in the pattern.
You can love someone and protect your peace. You can forgive without returning to the same situation. You can be deeply compassionate without carrying what belongs to somebody else.
It may also be time to 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 to suffering itself: the old story, identity, dependency or belief that has kept us connected to a wound long after the original experience has passed.
You are not denying what happened. You are choosing not to let it remain the author of everything that happens next.
The surrender asked of us now is not an ending for the sake of an ending. It is the space through which 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗹 becomes possible.
As old dreams, expectations and illusions dissolve, something more honest can begin to take shape. We may not yet know exactly what the new chapter will look like, but we can feel when the old one no longer fits.
This eclipse encourages us to release our attachment to outdated versions of ourselves and to the roles, beliefs and expectations that keep us anchored in the past. It asks us to trust that making space is itself a form of forward movement.
We cannot welcome something new while using all our energy to hold together what has already run its course.
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗽𝘀𝗲
Eclipse energy can feel powerful and unpredictable, so this is not necessarily a time to force an outcome. Allow the eclipse to reveal rather than trying to direct it.
In the days surrounding it:
• Slow down and leave more space in your schedule where possible.
• Pay attention to dreams, emotions and bodily sensations.
• Reduce unnecessary noise and overstimulation.
• Spend time near water or take a mindful bath or shower.
• Journal without trying to edit or immediately solve what emerges.
• Rest before reaching exhaustion.
• Avoid making major decisions from emotional urgency.
• Ask whether something needs fixing, accepting or releasing.
• Create one practical boundary around your time, energy or emotional availability.
• Allow your intuition to guide you, but give important insights time to settle.
A gentle question to sit with is:
What am I ready to stop carrying, even if I do not yet know what will take its place?
𝘈 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘔𝘰𝘰𝘯: you do not need to understand every part of the journey before allowing yourself to take the next step.
Some chapters close through choice. Others dissolve quietly when we finally stop feeding them with our energy. This eclipse reminds us that healing is not always about doing more. Sometimes it begins when we soften our grip, listen to what the body and heart have been saying, and trust that release can create space for something more aligned.
Let the tears come if they need to. Let the truth rise gently.
Let the old story return to the ocean.
