Aerospace Training Academy

Aerospace Training Academy ATASA is comprised of two divisions. The Academy and The Industry Business Solution Center.

Aerospace Training Academy of South Africa is a private institution of higher learning. The journey of Aerospace Training Academy began seven years ago with an ambitious professional having aspirations to take it to the pinnacle of quality education, nationally and internationally. The first challenge was, and still is, to change the South African aviation industry mind set, as to welcome the new training approach ATASA is offering. We are the first Aviation Academy in South Africa to offer career paths in aviation with academic qualifications. Our programmes are approved by the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) and accredited by TETA (Transport Education Training Authority of South Africa). All programs are registered with SAQA (South African Qualification Authority), and require a National Senior Certificate Grade 12, with endorsement, as appropriate for admission to higher Education for a certificate or diploma.

ATASA recently visited FlySafair to check in with some of our senior students currently completing their On-the-Job Training (OJT).

The visit included a logbook session, giving our students an opportunity to review their progress, receive guidance, and ensure they remain on track throughout their practical training.

It’s always great to see our students putting their knowledge into practice and gaining valuable hands-on experience within the aviation industry. 👏

We’re proud to follow their journey as they continue taking steps towards becoming the next generation of aviation professionals.
