Today is our special guitar teacher, Louis', birthday.
He has made such an impact in many student's lives, teaching them the theory, note reading, chord structures and all the different styles of playing - recording some of them singing and teaching them just to enjoy playing their guitar.
We wish him good health and many more years of teaching guitar and repairing all the "sad" instruments that come here with so much dedication - giving life to a broken instrument.

Grade 2 theory exam - she said it went very well - good for her xx

Exams, exams!!
My student really worked hard - she wrote her grade 2 theory exam yesterday after playing her grade 3 violin exam last week - she deserves a big chocolate milkshake!!
I am sure she will receive top marks - she deserves it🌹

What is the most exciting experience for a violin student?
To receive a brand new "upmarket" violin - a well deserved present!🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻❤
(although her mother and I did say to her it is for the coming birthday, and the Christmas and the next birthday and the next Christmas 😆)

Today 3 students played their practical exams.
They worked so hard in preparation for this exam and they all sounded good - we hope the examiner thought so too.
I am sure they will all get good marks!🎹🎻🌹🎶🙂

This student is playing tomorrow (Saturday 16 May) at a concert to raise money to further his music career.
He is very serious about his music and is very talented - he deserves all the encouragement he can get🎹🎶🎵🌹❤
