CBC Boksburg is a Catholic boys’ school dedicated to nurturing Men of Honour. Raising young men who lead with integrity, compassion, and courage. Rooted in the Edmund Rice tradition, after our founding father, Blessed Edmund Rice, we provide a holistic education that balances academic excellence, spiritual growth, sport, culture, and community service. From our vibrant classrooms to our fields and faith-filled gatherings, every boy is encouraged to belong, believe, and become the best version of himself.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mr Wermuth, a former teacher at our college.

Mr Wermuth taught Religious Education, guided the Edmund Rice Society (ERS), and helped prepare students for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Through his teaching, faith and care for our community, he made a lasting difference in the lives of many.

We remember him with gratitude and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, former learners and colleagues.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him.” — Romans 15:13

May he rest in peace.

Our STEAM activities make learning hands-on, creative and fun.

With LEGO Six Bricks, learners use six colourful bricks to build, explore and solve playful challenges.

These activities bring ideas to life and help children learn by doing: they test solutions, learn from mistakes, ask questions and explain their thinking.

Along the way, they strengthen problem-solving, communication, teamwork and flexible thinking; one small brick at a time.

Our St. Francis liturgy celebrated his love for all creation and reminded us to care for every living creature.

Our little boys brought their stuffed animals for a blessing.

It is here that we raise our boys to become "Men of Honour" through the ethos of the school.

We thank the Boksburg SPCA for visiting the liturgy, we are proud to support our local SPCA always.

In the spirit of St Francis' Feast Day, we encourage our CBC family and community to donate to the Boksburg SPCA.

Our Little Chappies are learning through play!

During our in-house Little Scientist activity, the boys explored simple experiments, asked questions and discovered how fun science can be.

Hands-on learning helps spark curiosity, builds confidence and encourage our young learners to explore the world around them.

Our Grade 11 and 12 History learners took their classroom learning into the real world on a meaningful excursion to the Johannesburg Holocaust & Genocide Centre and the Apartheid Museum.

At the Centre, the boys explored the Holocaust through artefacts, photographs and personal testimonies, then learned about the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. At the Apartheid Museum, they considered how prejudice and racial discrimination shaped different historical contexts.

Enrichment tours like these teach our boys valuable lessons in becoming "Men of Honour".

Our Pre-Grade boys had fun making sandwiches and practised some important skills along the way!

From spreading and arranging ingredients to making choices and tidying up, they built fine motor skills, independence and confidence.

A tasty way to learn.
