Established on 10th October 2006 by Kgothatso Laka. Registration opens February every year The KLMA was founded and has been in operation since 2006.
It started in Early Learning Centres teaching music to toddlers aged 3years upwards. Teaching various music instruments to learners, the school has done workshops with CAFCA(Committed Artists for Cultural Advancement). The Academy has had the likes of Themba Mkhize, Nduduzo Makhathini and Lorraine LH(UK) coming to do music workshops,perform and share their vast knowledge and experience with the academy.

Free entrance to our year end function this Saturday at olives and plates restaurant at wits in Johannesburg. Comeand enjoy some live music from our students and everybody is welcome.
